What if I need to take my permanent jewelry off?
If you need to remove your permanent jewelry, it can be snipped off at home with wire cutters or scissors. Just carefully cut the small jump ring at the welding point where your chain was connected. Save your chain so we can easily weld it back on (a small fee may apply).
How long will my permanent jewelry last?
Your jewelry can last as 'permanently' as you'd like it to! Later on, you can even choose to add a clasp to your jewelry if you'd like it to become removable. Your 14K gold chain will not tarnish or change color due to everyday wear or contact with water. Keep in mind that your lifestyle and other external factors can have an impact on longevity. As a fine jewelry item, it is still important that you take care of it to ensure it lasts as long as possible.
How do I clean my permanent jewelry?
Your permanent jewelry can be cleaned with a gentle dish soap and soft-bristle toothbrush. Simply apply to your jewelry and gently scrub, then rinse off with warm water.
Does the welding spark hurt?
Not at all! The tiny spark from the hand welder is quick and no heat is felt.
Permanent Jewelry Wear & Tear Policies:
If your chain is cut off or breaks at the jump ring, we offer complimentary re-welding.
If your chain is cut off or breaks at the jump ring after 2 weeks of wear and requires a new gold jump ring, there is a $25 jump ring fee.
If you would like your chain shortened, we offer complimentary link removal. A $25 fee may apply if a new gold jump ring is required.
